About This Extension

TonightCue Search makes your address bar streaming-aware. When you type a movie or show — "severance", "where to watch dune", "stranger things season 5" — the suggestions include "Where to watch" rows (with poster, year, rating and, when known, the streaming service) and, for series, a "Next episode" row. Pick one to open the title on TonightCue with every platform it streams on. Installing TonightCue Search changes your browser's default search engine to TonightCue Search (shown as "TonightCue" in your search engine settings). Search results are provided by Microsoft Bing, and pressing Enter always runs a Bing search for exactly what you typed — the TonightCue rows are only ever extra suggestions you can choose. Searches that aren't about movies or TV get plain Microsoft Bing suggestions with nothing added. Using the TonightCue Windows app? Choose "Connect this browser" in the app once, and the shows you follow show up first in the address bar, marked "Saved". Picking one opens the title in the app. This is optional and handled entirely by tonightcue.buntai.com with a first-party cookie; the extension itself stays the same. The extension asks for no permissions: it can't read the pages you visit, your tabs or your history, and it adds no buttons, popups or page content. To undo, remove the extension from chrome://extensions and your previous search engine is restored.
